Overview

GEMS membership provides a unique opportunity to participate in a local scientific society focused on emerging topics in genetics and genomics, within a broad context from basic research to scientific outreach to policy. 

Membership Benefits

Membership benefits include opportunities to hear about or present cutting-edge research, actively engage and network with local scientists, forge collaborations, gain recognition through poster sessions and award competitions, contribute to meeting planning, vote in elections and run for office, and participate in the state-of-the-art science and thinking that is  happening right here in the RTP. Student/Trainee and Regular memberships must be renewed every year.
